Ezeiza airport arrival:
We recommend using Ezeiza taxi. You may use any
of the airport taxi services, which are all reasonably priced, but
we personally suggest using TAXI EZEIZA. Their booth is just outside
the exit from the Customs area. When you exit the customs area you
are confronted with semi-circle of taxi and remis (hired car services).
Just ignore all the touts, exit the semi-circle, and Taxi Ezeiza's
booth with it's blue and white sign will be just past the exit.

between Baez and Arce streets. Andres Arguibel is a very small street
(just one block long) the closest major intersection is Baez and
Dorrego.

Security guards are on-site 24/7.
Check-in-process:
Elena or Juan Pablo will meet you at the apartment where
they will give you keys, introduce you to the apartment and security
guards, review the apartment inventory, give you a set of keys and
take your $500 USD security deposit.
Check-out-process:
Please tell me the time you plan to leave the apartment
and Elena or Juan Pablo will come to the apartment, take a quick
inventory and return your $500 USD deposit. Please return your keys
at this time.
The apartment is equipped with everything
you need during your stay. Fresh towels, hair dryer, dishes, plates,
glasses, cutlery, clean sheets, warm comforter, air-cons, heat,
gas, water, washing machine, maid service, tv, dvd, bose ipod docking
station, wifi, cable, phone, etc…
Wireless internet is available throughout
the apartment. Select the “polo” internet service from
your list of wireless networks (SSID) and enter the following WEP
key: 1A000E0000
The hot water heater is a gas powered
on demand hot water heater and is located in the laundry room. To
increase/decrease the hottest water temperature select one of 4
buttons. I usually keep it on one of the middle two buttons.
If the pilot light goes out (sometimes
does during strong wind) open the little window on the heater, press
the lower bar button on the left, press the third upper button then
using a match or lighter ignite the pilot light. Hold both buttons
for 30 seconds. If you are still unable to get it lit ask Juan the
building manager (portero) for help.
The stove and burners need to be
lit with a match.
The safety box is located in the
bedroom closet. Open the box and use the following reset pin: 159b.
Press the red button located on the inside of the box door and then
select your 3-8 digit person pin. After you have entered your pin
press the letter “b” to confirm your selection. If successful
you will see a green light. Each time you enter you person pin you
must immediately press the letter “b”.
The apartment phone number is +(5411)
4778-3664. Outbound, the phone only allows local land line calls,
however all incoming calls are accepted.
The pool is located on the roof.
Garbage is placed in the cans in
the stairwell.
Safety not a problem in Las Canitas,
however do keep the door locked when you are not in the apartment.
Phone: The phone can be used for
local calls to land lines. You cannot call mobile phones without
a calling card.
The neighborhood:
Las Canitas is like
a village within a city where you’ll find small tree lined
streets, numerous outdoor bars/cafes/resturants, boutiques. Las
Canitas is very safe at all times of the day and night so explore
to your hearts delight, but with all big cities be aware of your
surroundings and do not carry large amounts of cash or wear excessive
expensive jewelry.
Jogging/biking/walking/boating/golf/tennis/horseracing:
The Palermo parks and lakes are a 10-15 walk away.
Taxi service:
Taxi’s are plentiful in and around the Las Canitas neighborhood.
We suggest for reasons of safety to only use Taxi’s marked
“Radio Taxi”. You can also call a “Radio Taxi”
to come to the apartment at 5238-0000 or 4374-6666 or flag one down
outside. All taxis are metered and remember to have small bills
to pay your fare.

on the apartment phone. We live in Seattle, 5 hrs behind BA, so
please be courteous of the time of day you call. For emergencies

Banks are your best
bet with cash, but I personally prefer ATM’s.
Closest ATM to the apt: Jumbo
(see groceries below for directions).
Groceries:
Kioskos: Good for basic food items like soda, water and snacks.
The closest one is located 50 meters away on Arce.
Mercados: Good for most items. The closest located 3 blocks away
on Arce on the left side.
Jumbo: This is a major grocery store (like Walmart) where you can
get anything. They also offer a convenient home deliver service.
4 blocks away: Exit the apartment and take a left, left on Baez,
left on Dorrego, right on Cervino walk 50 meters and Jumbo is on
your right.
Lost keys:
Apartment door keys: $20 USD/each.
Building front door key: $50 USD.
Maid service:
We will arrange maid service during your stay and after
you check out. There are no additional charges for this service.

Please do not smoke inside our apartment
